Our experienced team have been providing first aid training across the whole of the South East of England since April 2007. Now with Fire Safety & Safeguarding, we use mainly Emergency Services professionals, some who have over 35 years of experience in a variety of skill sets. First Aid Courses - Adult, Child and Baby

We offer a full range of first aid courses that are approved an Awarding Organisation recognised by Ofqual and the HSE to offer regulated qualifications. We also have the ability to tailor courses to your individual needs. We specialise in Paediatric First Aid and offer both the 6 hour Emergency Paediatric First Aid course and the full 12 hour Paediatric First Aid course which fully adheres to the Early Years Foundation Stage practice guidance.

Our trainers are not only fully qualified to train in these various fields but many have actually worked in the Fire Brigade, Ambulance Service and NHS (some with over 35 years experience) dealing with a wide variety of injuries and conditions over the years. After training for some of the largest companies in the UK we set up and established 1st ACT in April 2007 with the aim of making life saving skills affordable to all without dropping standards. With 1st ACT Ltd you still get the same wealth of experience and high level of training but at prices our competitors simply cannot come close to.

We cover courses all over the South East, training as far West as Andover in Hampshire and as far North as Derby in the Midlands. With our regular open course venue in Wickford, we are able to serve clients from Chelmsford, Romford, Billericay, Brentwood & Lakeside. Our Colchester venue also tends to serve those from Chelmsford as well as being able to serve those from Clacton. Many of our in-house clients often open up their courses in Barking, Dagenham, Grays, Basildon, Tilbury, Brentwood, Hadleigh and Southend on Sea.
